We get this question all the time… don’t worry you are not alone! Hosting a party can be stressful, you have to deal with invitations, food, decorating and cleaning the house!! Well, Manuel’s is here to help relieve some of that stress. We are your easy party food solution. We wanted to answer your most common catering questions all in one place to make your purchasing decision easy.
Q: How much food do I need?
A: Totally depends. Do you want to offer your guests some easy finger foods or do want to serve a meal? For finger foods, we recommend 4 to 5 miniatures per person with chips and salsa. A large bag of chips and a quart of salsa pair perfectly and feed about 20 to 25 people. If you are wanting to feed a meal, our Party Packages are the perfect solution and can be scaled up to any size.
Q: Can you deliver?
A: Absolutely! As long as we have 24-hour notice and your order is above $100 we can deliver to your home or office. *Some exemptions can be made, call us and see what we can do!
Q: How much is delivery?
A: The base price for a basic delivery and drop-off is 15% of the subtotal. If you wish to have our team deliver and serve we would be glad to send you a personalized quote for service.
Q: How much do you charge per person?
A: We do not quote per person, we quote per package. There are too many variables that would mislead you in a per-person price. Once we quote a price it is all-inclusive and nothing will be added unless you request a change.
Q: Can I order something that I don’t see on your menu?
A: Depends! Ask us and we will see what we can do!
Q: What is the difference between a Flauta and a Taquito?
A: Excellent question. Both are rolled tacos, the Flauta is made with a white corn tortilla and filled with seasoned shredded beef or chicken and has a thicker crunch and is about 4” long. The Taquito is made with a yellow corn lighter crispier tortilla and filled with shredded beef or chicken, chopped jalapenos and cheese and is about 6” long.
Q: On your Fajita Feast, can I get both Steak and Chicken?
A: Yep! We can split the total meat in half, just remember, the more options you have the more food your guests will tend to take. We can always add more of a particular menu item to a preset package as well. Don’t forget you can substitute Pork Carnitas too!
Q: Can I get ½ Beef and ½ Chicken Enchilada Pans?
A: Unfortunately, we do not split pans of filling or sauce.
Q: When do I have to pay for an event?
A: For a basic delivery drop-off, we require a credit card number 24 hours before your event. For a full-service event, we require a small deposit to secure the date and the final balance needs to be paid 96 hours before the date of the event. Payment plans may be setup, some restrictions apply.
